Year 11 GCSE Exam Revision – Half Term School

Home / News / Year 11 GCSE Exam Revision – Half Term School

As I am sure you are aware this is an important time for Year 11 students as their final GCSE examinations are now upon us. Students should at this point in the year be revising at home as well as attending the revision sessions that are provided before and after school. To support students we shall be running Whit School again. This takes place between Tuesday 30th May and Sunday 4th June and involves some key subjects who are providing revision sessions;

                    Tuesday 30th May – Music Tech/Music GCSE

                      Wednesday 31st May – Maths

                       Thursday 1st June – Science (Chemistry & Physics)

                       Sunday 4th June – English

In the past attendance at our half term schools has always been excellent and those students that attend always benefit greatly.  The days will run from 9.15am when a free breakfast will be provided and will end at 1:45pm; there will be two, two hour sessions with a fifteen minute break. Sessions will begin at 9.30am for those who do not want a breakfast. School uniform is not required.  Mobile phones are banned as they are normally. Please also be aware that if pupils wish to bring drinks and snacks they may do but a break to the shop is not permitted once revision sessions have begun.
