Course details:
Here on the WJEC Construction course the pupils benefit from vast amounts of practical work which in-turn benefits children with more hands on skills.
They are set practical tasks which are set under time constraints. Following this they have to demonstrate their knowledge by underpinning their work by completing unit job sheets together with the practical evidence which helps to form a portfolio which is externally verified by WJEC. Throughout the course the pupils will gain additional experience by visiting other educational facilities and construction sites where they are treated the same as a normal work force, benefiting from induction courses and various entrance evaluations.
The three main attributes that pupils take away from this course are pride, confidence and a positive attitude.
