The Humanities subjects play a central role in helping pupils understand the world in which we live, the complexities of the human condition and how the modern world has come into being .
Pupils are set by ability and assessed at half termly intervals to ensure that they are in a class that provides an appropriate level of challenge. Formal end of year assessments are used to give an end of year level to measure progress.
We offer a range of extra -curricular trips designed to immerse our pupils in the curriculum, broaden their experience and to foster active, independent learning skills.
We have a strong dedicated team made up of two Historians and one Geographer who are all passionate about their subjects and ensuring all pupils fulfil their potential.
