Awards Evening 2015

Home / News / Awards Evening 2015

The annual awards evening on Wednesday was a fantastic event celebrating the best of Broadoak.
We would like to thank all parents and carers for supporting the young people and congratulations once more to all the winners. Pupils receive one of two awards for every single subject in the school. The first of the awards available is a progress award and is given to pupils who have been on the longest journey and shown the most effort throughout the last year. The second award is the academic achievement award, given to pupils in a particular subject who attain the highest levels.
Special thanks to Chris Whiteley, the Director of Challenge for Change. Chris is a former prison officer and an experienced rugby league professional and his words inspired all the young people in the room.
